Exposed! Sponsors Of Dreaded Niger Delta
Avengers Revealed
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused
the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of sponsoring
the new militant group.
The South South zone of the APC, according to
reports, held a meeting in Benin City, Edo state, on
Friday, June 3.
The party condemned the renewed attacks in the
administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
“The zone is cocksure that the nefarious and
ruinous activities of the ‘Avengers’ are not driven by
any patriotic and altruistic impulse.
“We have compelling reasons to strongly assert that
these activities are sponsored and instigated by the
opposition PDP to derail and frustrate the APC
government of President Muhammadu Buhari
because of its determination to fight against
corruption, stabilise and put our country on the path
of sustainable development,” the party said in a
communiqué issued at the end of the meeting.
The communiqué was signed by Hilliard Eta, the
APC national vice-chairman South South, and
Steven Ezekwem, the zonal secretary.
Rejecting the inclusion of the Niger Delta region in
the “imaginary State of Biafra”, the APC described
the idea as “dubious”.
“Niger Delta is not, cannot and will never be part of
Biafra,” it stressed.

Popular Lawyer, Festus Keyamo Speaks On
President Buhari’s Alleged Sickness
Lagos-based lawyer, Festus Keyamo, has joined
those commenting on the recent cancellations of
the trips of President Muhammadu Buhari.
In the last two weeks, Buhari has aborted three
trips. Two were within the country Lagos and Cross
Rivers states – and the other is the ongoing 49th
Extra-Ordinary Summit of the Economic Community
of West African States (ECOWAS) in Dakar, Senegal.
Below is Keyamo’s reaction
“On a lighter note, pple complained that PMB
travelled too much, so he decided to lock
himself up in the Villa. Now pple want him to
come out,” he wrote on Twitter.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has represented the
president on all the occasions, and Nigerians have
also reacted to that.
While some have criticised Buhari for delegating
Osinbajo at the last minute, others have argued that
nothing stops the vice-president from standing in
for his boss when the need arises.

The young man has been labelled ‘a real hustler’ by
online users who questioned his love for the aged
woman -judging from the gloomy look on his face
on what should be one of the happiest days of his
life. The location and nationalities of the couple were not
revealed but sketchy reports have it that the
woman should be over 60 years. Anyway, we wish
the couple a happy married life.

regarding her trip overseas in 2015, stating that she
conceived and gave birth to the said twin children.
It was further learnt that the alleged child abductor
pretended as if she were a customer when she met
the kidnapped child’s mother named Damilola Lawal
in a particular shop at Abule Egba area, while

child abductor on Wednesday, June 1 at Idimu area
of the state as gathered by the Punch on Thursday,
June 2.
Salisu stated: “I am from Katsina state, but I have
been staying in the South West since I finished my
secondary school education in Kano state. I got
married in 1992, but I lost my husband in 1993. I
met my new husband last year.
“I stay in the Ifo area of Ogun state. My new
husband lives in the Matogun area. When I met
Fehintola’s parents on that Saturday, I intended to
take her away and nurture her as my child. When
we went to the supermarket, I did not observe any
camera, but I knew there would be cameras there.
“When I fled, I took the girl to my place in Ifo. I lied
to my husband in August 2015 that I was pregnant. I
told him I was travelling abroad when I realised that
he would notice that I was lying. He was the one
who drove me to the airport.
“But I did not travel abroad. So when I stole
Fehintola in May, I went to him and told him I was
back. I took the girl and another boy to him as my
twins.”
“I told my husband that I had a set of twins. I said
they were a boy and a girl. He did not suspect
anything until yesterday when the police came to
arrest us. I call the toddlers Taiwo and Kehinde. The
other boy is related to me. He is my cousin. The
mother is dead, but the father lives in Sagamu. I
took good care of both children.”
The alleged abductor was said to have graduated
from an unnamed polytechnic in Ogun state.
Saheed Akinwale, who is the husband of the
suspect said he never knew his wife was into such
shady business.
While Akinwale stated his own side of the whole
story, he said: “When she came back in May 2016, I
did not ask her any question. She had called me in
August 2015 that she was pregnant and was
delivered of twins. I did not doubt her. When she
came back last month, she brought the children. It
was when I saw policemen on Wednesday that I
knew she had been lying to me.”
More so, the mother of the baby who was
kidnapped spoke on the issue, adding that she
really appreciated the efforts of the police, saying: “I
am grateful to God for rescuing my baby. I am also
grateful to the police and the media. Fehintola is my
only child. She celebrated her one-year birthday on
May 5. This abduction happened on May 16.”
Dolapo Badmos, a superintendent of police and the
Lagos state police public relations officer (PPRO)
concluded the issue stating: “We have not reunited
the boy with his parents because we have not seen
them. We appeal to members of the public to help us
locate them. The suspect is a serial child kidnapper
and she will soon be charged to court.”
The activities of kidnappers and abductors have
continued to be checkmate by the security agents,
as two abducted reverend sisters were rescued
