1) Hilda Dokubo hails from Buguma in Asari Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
2) She had her primary school education in St Mary State School Aggrey Road, and secondary in Government Girls Secondary School. She further studied at the University of Port Harcourt where she attained a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and Masters in Theatre Education. She was also at the Royal College of Arts, London where she bagged a PGD in Dance and Choreography.
4) The actress got married to Akarose Mrakpor in 1986, but went their separate ways after few years of marriage.
5) Dokubo made her screen debut during her youth service in a 1992 film titled Evil Passion.
6) In 2003, she was appointed as a Special Adviser to the former Rivers State Governor, Dr. Peter Odili.
7) In 2013, Dokubo reconciled with her husband, Karos Mrakpor.
8) Hilda received her 10th international award as the most outstanding female performer for her role in the movie ‘Stigma’ .
9) In 2016, she won the City People Entertainment Lifetime Achievement Award.
10) The proud mother has three biological children, but adopted 50 others making a total of 53 children.
